David Neuman is a forest products business development consultant in the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Business Development Division.  He works with the TDA Forestry Division, TFA and other industry partners to promote markets for forest products, support forest products business expansion and attraction, and promote exports of Tennessee Wood Products.  He is a forester by training – with degrees in Forestry from Michigan State University, and has worked as a consulting forester, and 20+ years with the Michigan Forest Resources Division working as a private lands forester, statewide silviculturist, and wood markets & utilization specialist before joining TDA in summer of 2022.  He lives with is wife Sarah and three kids and some tomatoes in Clarksville.
